Defining Optimism

Optimism is remembering that the sun is there, when all you can see are clouds.

Optimism is growing where you are planted, even though that place is a rocky canyon wall.  It’s growing even though you are sideways because life’s winds tried to flatten you.

Optimism is believing that there is light at the end of the dark tunnel you’re in.  And knowing that the darkness has a purpose–to help you fully appreciate the light.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words! I have to confess that my pictures are really more luck than skill. 😉 I took these on our recent vacation to Chattanooga, TN. The train ride on the Missionary Ridge Local was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. I’m planning to share more pictures from our vacation here soon. I hope you’ll stop by again! Blessings, Christina
